pull the fuel inlet fitting off the burner. there is a very small (about
3/8 in or so) fine screen in there. it is probably plugged up. this is after
making sure you have @ 3lbs pressure there. i would suggest taking it all apart
carefully, because the back of the nozzle has a fine filter built in also.
i would suggest a burner service kit from clarks , it has the new inlet
screen , and the rubber gas valve etc in it that fails because the tip gets too
hard with age to seal properly. there is nothing like the feeling of a gas
heater burning out of control. (puts on a real show in a rampy!!) the nos kits
dont cut it , because the rubber parts are not soft enough. the new kits are
from aircraft heaters and are fresh. worth every penny!! plus my sore back does
not like taking the gas heater out of fc's very often!
