In reply to Hank's post on the closure of the American Axel plant in
Buffalo.
   Yes there is a lot of doom and gloom in the area, has been for a long
time. But things are looking up, they are planning plenty of new Wal Mart
Super centers........

The auto industry is in a death spiral. The more jobs lost, the less
prospective auto buyers there will be. People working for Wal Mart wages
generally are not buying new cars. Has the auto industry even thought yet
that all the jobs going out of this country are killing them?
Delphi wants to pay all new workers in the $10 to $12 range. think that
will put people in the auto buyers market?

It's only going to get worse..............crime is on the upswing, could
the reason be the hopelessness of trying to make an honest living..........
