John,  Here's some info from the Corvair Parts Catalog:

  A-A---Exterior & Interior paint, Tuxedo Black
   
  As to the 5Y, I can't locate the chart for this but I'm almost positive that it refers to options that were installed.

I know the 6610537WRN is a 66 monza coupe.
The 01D is probably week 4 of January.
740 is the interior color? Of paint or Vinyl?
A-A is exterior black.
2M is powerglide.
What are the other numbers and letters?
Would be nice to have this info but I really need to know the inerior door paint code for certainty.
