I considered buying some of these from Clark's. Their pricing makes them very attractive. Has anyone ever had them fail, though? i.e. have they ever allowed air back into the system during bleeding? I'm uncertain of their reputation.

On the brake bleeding subject, yes Speedbleeders (with a check valve in them) are great. You can do a bleed job by yourself. I loop the very long clear tube so i can check the bubbles or lack there of occasionaly. I don't have any on my Vair yet but I will soon. There are available Clark's as mentioned and at most FLAPS.
On the unusual steering wheel spotted on a vair on E-bay. I knew it was familiar, Today I realized my parents had a 68 Belair with that same wheel. Also same light green interior. Must have been very in in 68.
Keith.
