It's a press fit. If you don't want to save the old tube, you can use a 
combination of channelocks, vise grips and hammer to remove, or you could 
remove the casting, and tap it out from the bottom.
Installation is with a block of wood and a hammer.
If you are concerned how the oil cap will sit, make sure you check the 
alignment of the notchs on the top of the tube.
