Just a suggestion for keeping bare steel and iron from rusting under the car. A product called Slip Plate meant to cover plow shares during storage works very well. It is available at most tractor-farm supply stores. It's a high graphite content paint. I have used it on drums, backing plates, brake lines, wheel cylinders, steering linkage, and coil springs.
If painted on exhaust manifolds it leaves them looking like new cast, although the first time you start the car you need to burn off the distilates which tends to be a might strong, before you get in and drive away. Graphite remains in a dry residue and doesnt burn.
No this isnt POR 15 but for about $5 a quart it is pretty useful for a short term (2 or 3 years) stop gap against rust and rust seizing.
Just another cheapskate suggestion....I'm sure there are other uses along those lines....and I'm sure somebody here will give me a few more........
