<VV> Delete key help

In order to save time when dealing with e-mails that have no appeal to 
be read, highlight the first e-mail in the inbox to be deleted and hold 
the shift key down while pressing the down arrow (or up as appropriate) 
to highlight several e-mails at once. Then press the delete key to kill 
them at once.

I find it easier to do it this way than to subscribe in digest mode 
where I had to open the digests and read the headers, then cut and paste 
if I wanted to respond.

Sorry if 99% of you knew this already, just trying to help the newbies 
clean the inbox easier.
