As another LBC (little British car) enthusiast, I'm always amused when
someone decides to get rid of an "unreliable" Corvair in favor of some
European car... of all of the marques I've played with (nearly all of
them) Corvairs have been by far the most reliable, easiest, and cheapest
to buy, maintain, and drive.... in fact nothing else really comes close.

That being said, for a "toy car" (as opposed to a very usable one) one
could do much worse than a Met droptop... one of my favorite little cars
and one that has seen an explosion in value over the past few years... a
decent one now easily bringing five figures.
