For now, Dexron/Mercon III is the approved GM fluid for Corvairs.  It was Changed from Dexron II in 1994 for new car requirements in the 95 Model year.  Any car that ran on dexron II can run on Dexron III without any issues. 

There is a Dexron V out there, it is for FORDS only AFAIK.
