Best to start with removing the screws GGGG then start at one end and
slooooowly start pealing it up from the bottom and you should be OK just
don't rush it or you'll bend it or kink it.

what is the best way to remove rocker mlds--one side missing on my car
and 
other side still on--need to remove to start body repairs--dont want to
