Guys,
Sorry about the 'me too' post, but a friend (really) had his 60 engine drop down once. Remember, the 60 mount is a through bolt with rubber donuts and a castle nut - same as the FCs.
Anyway, he crossed some railroad tracks and the engine 'just stopped running, and there was a scraping noise'. Another friend & I grabbed some tools and a jack, and headed for the hardware store - where I bought a bolt I hoped was the right size. When we got there I realized the bolt wouldn't fit, so I hunted both shoulders of the road and found all of the missing components (less the cotter pin; which likely disappeared long ago).
We jacked up the engine, bolted it back in place, reconnected the broken coil wire that had broken, and he drove it back home.
I recommended to him to put the bolt in upside down - that way he could easily check the cotter pin any time he had the hood open.
