<VV> OK is it true or not ?

Frank-I've heard that also.  I've been driving Corvairs since 1962 and never had the problems people keep bring up when they see a Corvair.  The only thing about the engine falling out is the possibility of the rear motor mount coming loose and allowing the rear of the engine dropping down a few inches or maybe hitting the ground.  I don't know, I've never had it happen or personally known someone that it happened to.  Keep on Vairing.   Ken

guys have been telling me at the Cruises about the corvair motors falling out of the cars when driveing them down  the road years ago , can ,and did this ever happen ,they keep telling me to watch for it to happen to my corvair , i am new to corvairs , the New-B , Frank From Near Erie Pa .
