... but I now can hear the sound of a Corvair engine without having to 
go to one of those meetings    ;-) , just right out there in my own shop 
-- fire it up and give a listen.

Now, we aren't quite out of Group Red with it yet, seems there is 
something about being able to stop that the big lever under the dash 
can't quite cope with -- it's better than nothing, but not quite the 
same as working hydraulic brakes.

Anyway, I'm just pleased as tickled pink punch!  The Joyous Sound of a 
Corvair, yeah!

This is the sixty 4-dr I picked up in California this summer -- looks 
like it was last licensed in 1991, and that sort of jives with the story 
about pulling the drivetrain to fix the leaks. It just never got put 
back together until now.
