Tony - Check to be sure there's no kink in the fuel hose coming out of the tank, a possible problem area I once had. It let a small amount of gas come through, but not enough to keep the engine running. Ken

The car idles perfectly. Runs great for a mile or so, then as if it's
running out of fuel
(tank is full) it loses power and dies.
When I'll crank it again, it has power for 10 or 15 seconds, then the same
thing
over again. I had electronic ignition - switched it back to points - no
difference !
I've already installed a new coil, emptied the fuel tank & tested the fuel
pump.

Tony,
My sugestion....Next time this happens, immediately shut off the ign, and go
back and see if you get any squirts of fuel from activating the accel pumps.
Worst case, remove bowl covers to visually check fuel levels.
