<VV> convention activities

I was the one that mentioned about no door on the south side of the 5-story
building. No, walking won't kill me (at least not yet, though heart disease
DOES run in my family) BUT sometimes one simply doesn't have that much time
to waste WALKING from one spot to another. And with all the convention
activities and such going on, I don't like wasting precious time in walking
marathons.

Besides, as far as "trying to participate in everything", what's wrong with
that? Isn't that what the Cole award is all about? What is "regrettable" is
that my interests are broad, and so are a lot of others in this hobby. So
to take in everything that interests me often takes a lot of time.
Needlessly wasting time "just getting there" for whatever reason or
activity is, to put it mildly, annoyingly unnecessary.

Besides, I was only trying to be a little humorous. Sorry you took it so
seriously.

stress yourself out. For what?
> he Convention hotel did a great job of co-operating, and we hear
complaints about no doors at the South end. So, walk. Trust me, it won't
kill you.
