<VV> 140HP Block off plates...

  Hi:

  I'm planning to block off the 140 secondary carb ports (using Clark's C2068 kit).
  Please let me know the best way to remove the existing bolts. 

  Could I just leave the secondary carbs disconnected from the linkage/fuel 
  and simply use the blocking plate underneath - or do I even need the 
  blockers if the carbs are disconnected. 

  Currently the carbs are rotated 90 degrees...
