I have a small 2-car attached garage with a former family room behind it,
but I call it a "workshop".  The secret to a dream garage is never let your
wife park in it!  I have been living here for 39 years and she only parked
inside for the first year before I made it a "workshop".  Yes I live in MI
where it gets cold in the winter.  She is used to scraping windows.
Sometimes if she is good to me I scrape her windows!
