Bottom line, if you were to do this, you would have them cast by a casting  
house.They know all these details.

Mold  makers use what is known as a shrink rule to
build patterns. They are sized  for what ever material
you will be casting. Some of them have  multiple
scales. I haven't seen one in years, but a look thru
Mcmaster  Carr or google search for shrink rule might
turn up a  source.
