What  comic book did you read that in?     Only the RICH  could afford to 
swap cars   bi -annually, etc.....

The rest kept the cars 10-40 years....

Only at the bottom end.... USED  cars did cars  change rapidly.....prices 
dropped at a much higher  percentage rate than they do nowadaZe!!

but, then few were fiananced!
