With the Turbo engine...you want to drop the whole assy.....otherwise you 
have to dismantle the complete top of the engine!   $$$$$    Bob Helts "The 
Classic CorVair"  tells everything!  IMO!

It's actually very simple and straightforward.....takes a pro 45 minutes to 
remove the "pack"

Most likely the oil is Grearlube......engine oil leaves a bigger puddle !!

And yes,  you need to wait until apart........no telling what you have....
