IMHO,putting filters in-line ignores the fact there's still the 1/8 NPT nipple,steel lines and inlet nut between the pump and carbs to shed rust....the engine from the yellow 4-dr 'Nader Hater' had brass inlet nuts with 3/8" hose barbs,no clue where they came from,tho...I've seen a big ad in car mags from a company repro-ing SS lines in western NY,if the vendors don't have SS carb lines,they may make them up...Tom Z..//
