<VV> front directional signals - help!

Welcome to VV!  Man...you need a wiring diagram!......no matter how good at 
electrical you may be...until you "know" the car....invaluable!

Tell us / me   what you mean by "dimmer lights"   "Spyder" front 
directionals...???

You should have amber fluted lenses under each side of the bumper...in the 
body..

These each have 1 [one] 1157 bulb with 2 filaments.

The TALL  filament is the "parking lights" [dim] and only work at the 1st 
pull notch of the headlight switch

The turn  signal is the SHORT filament...[ Bright] and is the one you are 
concerned with...

Most usually...the turn signal SWITCH is suffering from bad alignment of the 
contacts...or corrosion..
