Just a quick note to let you know that all is well.  As everyone mentioned,
the lever was easy enough to bend in the vise and is now a comfortable
distance from the wheel.  As for the post cover, ten minutes on a 12" disc
sander made short work of that problem.  The Monza to Corsa dash conversion
went off fairly well.  Tomorrow I will button every thing up and take if for
a spin.
