Matt-
You didn't mention wheel cyl. Perhaps they are hanging up at times. Also you 
might check the condition of the various front end bushings, though a brake 
problem is more likely.

Applying the brakes still tugs the steering wheel, not hard, but:
Only about half the time.
Maybe to the left, maybe right. <
