That may be, but if it's good enough for alternator bearings, it's good
enough for blower bearings. Besides, I'd rather be able to replace them
when and where needed than need to and not be able. The factory design
was defective from the start in that they "assumed" that it would last
"forever", (one of their "sealed for life" ideas that I call "sealed for
death.") Hence they designed it for a "special" bearing, and needing a
complicated repair procedure. Heck, even the fact that they *needed* to
upgrade at all the bearing size from its original 1960 design is an
admission that their idea sucked in the first place. Idiot designers!
