May we ask what is "too much" for you? 

 These are the simplest cars to work on EVER....1960's  with good 
support.....I cannot think of another car make that I could have 5 cars, a boat, a 
sandcar.......all   100%  useable for their intent.....spare parts galore at my 
disposal......and total reliability.......with very few [ ask the vendors!]  NEW 
parts...

Then there's the driving experience....easy to park, good sized 
trunk.....handle extrememely well, even by todays standards........and stopping?  LM's  
have Chevelle Brakes!  Many racers don't use disks!

On another forum we've had  NEW  car guys..no mechanical experience...change 
heads...seal a powerglide and replace the "E" clip.......most without manuals! 
[ based on the # of questions]....as well as numerous othe repairs...
