Isn't the KIND of lifter important information as well? Is he using a stock
lifter, or a SBC, or a Souce Deep Dimple?

Yes, 1/4 turn past quiet will work. Sometimes it takes more, as a slight
tapping will start several minutes later. Of course the factory shop
manual calls for 1 full turn past quiet, but I have rarely doen that
when adjusting hot. Oops, there I go giving a non-universally agreed on
opinion! ggg
