good morning and happy sunday...been offline for a couple days but catching up now and seeing plenty of chatter on this entry...though unfortunately far too many skeptics questioning the validity of this story due to the approaching april fools day - which is today of course. can't believe how many people are doubting this announcement given the well-established honesty of my corvair-itis blog. anyway, knowing my timing now isn't going to help either, i have added some verification details to the bottom of the blog entry in order to substantiate the source of this article and put the skeptics to rest...here's the link. hope you guys have a great day.

ps...and this is no april fooling...yesterday checked out a standard '64 greenbrier that's been sitting since 86...missing 2 rear seats and generally neglected, odo shows 04425_...but no rust, no major dings, straight, and looks pretty original...guy is 2nd owner & moving soon so just wants a fair offer to get rid of it...a pretty good project but seems like a diamond in the rough, and will see how he reacts to a few hundred bucks (based on recent ebay & corvair.org classifieds)...cross your fingers for me, and if i buy it, i'll send a followup w/ more details.
vairy best,
