<VV> Gas prices (no Corvair) (Humor?)

I'm not talking about 32 years ago (when "they" first realized how "we" 
would respond), but maybe 3 or 4 years ago, when gas was $1.50 or so.

We screamed when it went over $2, so they raised it to $3, with threats of 
$4 or $5.

Now we're "happy" that's it's only $2.50.

"We" are so easy it's almost pathetic, and the gas companies laugh at us all 
the way to the bank, as they say.

Then retire the guys who thought of this plan at $400,000,000.00 per year 
(plus a company car !)

Just a theory though.  Can't prove a thing...
