Thanks Ken, and everyone else. I'm sure it's a bad speaker. The radio
lights up, and if I turn the volume up all the way, I can hear a very
faint signal as I tune the dial. You're all right, I've removed the
duct, and I see how it all comes out. I bought a replacement dual cone
speaker from Advance Auto, supposed to fit GM applications...we'll see.
BTW, can you still buy FM converters, or did they disappear with the 8
track players.
