Check out the November issue Classic Motorsports. In the letters section is
our own Mark Reed. In the "Forgotten Classics" is a LM Fitch Sprint. And
in "Absolutely Classic" is Larry Schmuhl three wheelin' it around an
autocross course in a Rampside!
And for some reason, Save On Foods in Victoria didn't take the last issue of
CM off the shelves when the new issue arrived, so if you haven't gotten it
yet with Jim Pettengill's terrific article "A Classic at any Speed" you
should pick it up!
Regards,
Joel

First, and again thanks to all who made CTD a reality this year. This was
an event to be proud of, and one which raised Corvair's profiles greatly.
Two, if you can get a back issue of Classic Motorsports, the May 2006
issue also has an article on Corvairs under "Underrated Classics".
Three, true to his word, Gary from Classic Motorsports has forwarded me
the information on the Flying Corvair. Yes Virginia, it DOES fly. It's an EM
sedan that has an attached motor/wing/tail assembly (one piece unit) which
is attached by some means to the roof of the vehicle. (Picture is somewhat
hazy).
