<VV> Oil Pressure

 What would be the most likely cause of the temp/press light to come on during hard left turns.  Fist time this has ever happened, and only in hard left turns, twice.  Not sure if would happen when turning right as I made no hard right turns.  Appears to be oil pressure, not temp obviously, car was running great.  Run about 1/2 quart low, and have an Offy deep pan, with 1 extra qt capacity.  Checked oil level and is about where it normally is. Suggestions?  Thanks in advance!
