Better than 7,000 and is designed to work with any number of them
failed (range drops). The range estimates are based on a large
percentage being dead, real range exceeds 300 miles at least at
first. These are cutting-edge laptop batteries, more like modern
cell phone batteries with no memory and lasting forever. It takes a
LOT of electronics and computer control to make this work, which is
why Martin (a computer guy) was able to do this rather than the
conventional auto world. And Martin was smart, he did only the
unusual electric/computer stuff, and had one of the best sports car
builders do the rest of the car.
