Check wiring, correct wires to correct terminals. Then see if unplugging
the wire to the switch shuts off the washer. If it does, then switch is
bad or wire is touching ground. The push button switch grounds the wire
to complete the circuit. If it does not stop working, then take the
cover off and see why the solenoid is not retracting away from the
ratchet wheel. The solenoid should just pull the pawl into contact with
the ratchet wheel while the switch is pushed in, then it releases after
a revolution or so.
