I hope someone is not at their real job right now and can give me
some info.
I just replaced all the push rod tube o-rings on my '65 Corsa and I
put everything back together. Started it up. And I noticed that there
was still a leak. It was coming out of one of the push rod tubes I
just fixed. I noticed that I could move that push rod tube in and
out. It seemed too loose. I took the rocker arms off that cylinder
again and checked the o-rings and re-torqued the rocker studs.
I check some of the other push rod tubes and this is still the
loosest, but there are a couple of others that are just a hair loose.
I torqued down all rocker/stud bolts to spec but that the farthest
front tube on the driver's side is still overly loose to me.
Should the tubes be loose at all or do they need to be pressed tight
into place?
-Thanks in advance
