I finally dismantled the front suspension and cross member of the Sunoco 
Vair. It's the only one of the things I did not have time to do before the 
Yenko Reunion. As I was checking the spindles I noticed the two threaded 
holes that hold the speedometer cable in were filled with some kind of mud 
and larvae. That's the only thing like that I have found on this car.
I got the cross member cleaned and blasted so it's off to the powder coater 
tomorrow. I still marvel over the smooth surfaces that show up after bead 
blasting the crud off these parts. Just like they came from the stamping 
plant.
No rust Aridzona cars are Da Bomb!
