<VV> carb problem

   A  friend called and said his 66 Monza 110 was very sluggish and power
   was much less than when the engine was overhauled last year.  He's not
   a  mechanic of any sorts so he brought it over this am.  I wasn't sure
   if  the  timing  was  off or harmonic balancer slipped or what.  After
   taking  off air cleaner  and revving engine a couple of times I notice
   the  left carb was not connected to throttle linkage.  If all problems
   were that easy to fix.   Ken Clark
