  As Seth recommended, a 'fixed-head' is preferred to a ratchet...I had  a cheapy socket set that I broke the internal teeth on,gutted the ratchet head,left the back cap off,and welded the thing solid...comes in handy other places too, like holding the CC nuts/bolts and re-threading,where clearance and a 'fixed-90*' is needed...
