Yep, cut a short wrench to reach that bolt.
I used Mercury Marine black outboard spray paint to do my YH and the paint has held up well for 5 years so far. Carb cleaner removes everything. Take carb apart, clean with carb cleaner then solvent then soap & water then water then compressed air (without touching it with your oily fingers), mask off areas you don't want painted, paint with several light coats.

Hi again
How does one get at the third bolt securing theYH carb? (The one that is
between the back of the engine compartment and the carb) Not sure if it
matters but I have RAJA turbo.
I thought about cutting a wrench down to gain a little more clearance.

Oh yes the 2nd 'Q'. What can you use to paint a YH carb black? I found
out today that whoever painted it last time used paint that comes off
with carb cleaner! What a mess.......Also any suggestions on the
proper way to paint it..?
