I have used POR-15 with great success if I remember to put cardboard
under what Im painting (drips are permanent on garage floor) and try
to keep fingers clear. Gloves just seem to make you not pay
attention and you get it all over yourself anyhow.

Storage - I did this: Take a big nail and punch a hole in the side
of the can near the top. Do this on opposite sides of the can.
Then, find a couple of big (1/4 inch) sheet metal screws or old short
lag bolts and screw one into each hole. When you need some POR,
remove the screws, pour out through one of the holes into a toss away
plastic cup or something similar and immediately put the screws back
in place. Tighten the screws enough to get most of the threads in-
doesnt have to be down snug, just solid so they dont fall out.

This method has kept a couple of different quart cans alive for
months with no apparent ill effects on the paint. Yes, the screws
will harden in place, but just use a crescent wrench to loosen them
the next time. They will seal better if you just upend the can and
then put it back right side up.

Oh, before using, I just vigorously swirl the can to stir the
contents up - if you shake it, it bruises the gin....I mean it puts
air bubbles into the paint that take a long time to settle out.

As always, ymmv and the secretary will disavow any knowledge of this
procedure.
