The oversized generator would probably be typical for GM ambulances of 
the era, BUT --

for an "original" 1962 model,  What About The Fan? sure looks sorta like 
a LM to me ...   but i'm not into counting vanes and the pic is just  a 
bit fuzzy, and what about the color?
