<VV> IDEAL RPM FOR A 140

hello group,
 
breaking in a new 140...running very nice overall, but is a little bit
thirsty and rpm seems higher than expected.  before i start making
timing or other adjustments, just looking for any thoughts re:
"correct" rpm figures at highway speeds...here's some general specs...
 
- 66 convert, 140, 4-speed
- approaching 500 miles on engine,  running primaries only at the moment
- 205/60/15 tires all around (assuming this impacts speedometer figures
below)
 
RPM #'S...
- 1500 @ idle
- 2900 @ 55 mph
- 3100 @ 60 mph
- 3400 @ 65 mph
- 3600 @ 70 mph
