Smitty Says:  Yes it is true.  I did use a Late Vair at the Fall Affair.  Contrary to what I have always believed it did not leave a 666 on my forehead or cause me to get boils on the other end.  I was curious, so when Dave Clemmons offered to let me warm his tires for him I took him up on the ride.  It did prove one thing to me.  (With apologys to Dave), that any idiot can make a Late go reasonably fast, but it takes a man equipped like twin basket balls to make an Early go fast.  It is also true that Spike did not appear on the scene.  We can fix that next time very easily.  All it will take is for the international leader of WTBRT to inform Mrs Curmudgeon that she must sleep in Spike for a couple of nights rather than in her camper she loves so well.  He must understand of course that any ill will or negative comments this will generate from her must be handled by him.
