I'd like to say thanks to everyone who replied to this thread, Mark Corbin,
James Davis, Bryan Blackwell, Tom Zimmerman, Bob Helt, Mike Mauro, Danny
Barber, Bill Strickland, Mike Stillwell and probably others I've missed-
that was a lot of great information!

I have decided to go ahead and put one together more or less as GM would
have. One thing I would mention is a lot of 1965 3839891 cammed (first
design) 140 PG RN engines seemed to have the turbo timing tab as well, for
whatever reason, I've seen 3-4 so far on engines I am very confident have
not been molested and have the timing tabs...

Seeing as the 95 heads are on what amounts to a pretty stock 110 engine, I
guess the worst I could expect is I'll be able to run regular 110 ignition
advance on lower octane gas and have a slightly weak 110 engine. Around my
area ordinary RD/RH 110HP engines run fine at 14 degrees intial advance on
91 octane gas, and will stand 89 in the winter months without protest.

Basically I guess what this engine type amounts to is a 1964 turbo engine
sans turbo running a 110 distributor...doesnt sound like it should be a ball
of fire but if it doesnt work I guess I can always just put 110 heads on it
and have a regular engine again, so nothing lost I suppose....

Thanks very much for the comments guys, I remember seeing Mark's '67 Monza
convertible with this engine in Chicago in 1987 and recall his enthusiasm
for this powertrain;-)
