<VV> Moving battery to the trunk

I also cant see any reason for moving the battery for a daily driver, and I haven't done it for my daily drivers.
However; for performance use, the 40# or so added to the front is on a 12 foot (from the near the back seat center of gravity and polar moment) lever and is multiplied many times(12?) it's static weight. It is also 40 # of centripital swing weight on a high 3 foot lever removed from the back--a 15 foot leverage change.'
Not to start a new string, but I've discovered over the years that the distribution of weight is much more important than the total weight.
On a tire friction graph the front tires operate far below their effectiveness ,due to lack of downward force ,and the rears operate far beyond their effectiveness due to being overloaded due to excessive downward and sideways(swing) weight.
Cures such as anti roll bars, springs, and shocks only begin to help AFTER the initial turn in.

I can't see any reason not to do it. Go for it!!
Van

Correspondingly......I can't think of a single reason TO do it! It's a
complicated solution searching for a problem to solve!

FWIW, overall weight distribution isn't as important as "polar moment", and
this "solution" simply moves the problem around, it doesn't eliminate
it...all while increasing the overall weight of the car.
