Depends on what you are willing to settle for. I was part owners in a  P&B in 
the 60's, later owned many cars I restored, myself; but, when  older--and 
having more money and less time-- found it a lot more convenient  & "plesent" to 
pay someone else (once researched and sure of) to do the  work. My 64 Spyder, 
last "done," was finished by two guys at a real resto shop;  they took 
14-weeks, 7-hours per day, just for the body. Worth every  penny.
