Guus,  But his steering wheel does have horn buttons doesn't it?   One of my 
'68's has an optional wheel with two horn buttons on the spokes--but  it has a 
horn.  The '67-'69 steering wheels are supposed to be safer in an  accident 
so I would stick with these steering wheels and not attempt an earlier  one.  
Other Chevrolet wheels from the same year will work, but I haven't  tried any 
myself.
