On my 65, I put the headlights on Hi-beam and have no
lights at all,
low beams come back on if I hit the dimmer switch
again. I put in a new
dimmer swich and no change, whats my next likely
culprit?

Likely a lose wire at the dimmer switch in floor, Or,
at the headlight switch.
I redone the entire floorboard of my car last year,
and somehow the dimmer switch fell from it's tied
position while I was using epoxy paint. Just for a
second it touched the floor board, but on one contact
was just a small splotch of paint. My high beams did
not work after that. I could have sanded the contact
off, but the switch looked original, so I replaced it,
and all was well.
So, check the dimmer switch in the floor first, cause
for some reason, even a little paint on even one side,
can prevent it from working.
