<VV> FC brakes

I THINK the curb weight of a (Standard) Rampside is around 2600 - 2650 lbs.
I don't have a way to look that up at the moment. If you have the owner
manual for one - it should be in there. I always thought that "curb weight"
was with a 1/2 tank of gas, but what you sent says different. Anyway, IF
curb weight is 2600 and GVW is 4600, doesn't that make the load capacity
right around one ton? It was likely advertised as 3/4 ton just to avoid
lawsuits (a guess). I know, you have to subtract the driver/passenger
weight as well. The point being that (if you are careful), you can get away
with carrying a one ton load even if you weigh 200 lbs. Just be aware that
your brakes (and the driver) need to be ready for a (slightly over) max
load.

I'll be out of town for the next 3 days.
