Besides being a Corvair nut, I am also a John Deere 2 cylinder
nut. These old tractors (ended production in early sixties) are more
famous for leaking oil than Corvairs! Besides engines and
transmissions and so forth, there is an entire leaky hydraulic
system! There is even a joke that states that is the reason John
Deere's don't rust ... which the general don't. As if someone would
design in oil leaks to stop rust! I think that might be a lot like
me telling my customers that the "bugs" they are reporting are really
"features" :-)
